Try saving your game, exiting the current lot, and load back in. This should resolve the issue and your Sims should appear normally again.
If you see no change after trying this, please let us know!
It's happened in a new save multiple times after saving, repairing, and moving lots. It happens almost every time my Sim comes back from leaving a lot.
And while not many people have hit Me Too, multiple people on Facebook in Sims groups I'm in have been sharing screenshots of it happening to their Sims, too. I've been trying to direct them here.
