sims aging up once joining household

okay so ive been turning townies into vampires (as one does) and then adding them to my household but once I add teen sims they seem to age up until their elderly (Ya, to adult, to elder). I add them right after they turn and this had happened with a few of my sims. Not sure if vampires have anything to do with it but it's def a bug
