Sims and clock freezes, but environment keeps moving

I'd play my household for a bit, then the sims would be stuck sleeping or doing something. The clock also freezes at a certain time when trying to speedup through the night. I can't save or do anything but use task manager to close it when it happens.

    Same happening for me. Took out all mods and tried repairing. No luck.

    I have this same issue and my game sometimes freezes completely. I use no mods.

  • I have been running into this issue for several days, definitely since the latest EP. And each time, I've had to force quit with task manager. I've also removed all my mods, repaired the game, I've tried resetting Sim etc etc. Hoping they find a fix!

    Is this with or without mods ? Did you try a new save to check if it's save related ?

      Without mods, as I turned them off when testing. And my game freezes when trying to fully exit the game

    I had the same problem. I saved my game*thankfully) then exited, sometimes killed game with task manager. Then I killed thumb??cache and restarted same saved game, until it happened again. Most irritating. The only mods I used are MCCC and MC WooHoo.

    I saved my DxDiag info, since Mura_lylia did not answer you.

    I hope this helps and that you are able to solve my problems, and those of us who have the same issue.

    Thank you for offering to help,

    Judy

      How many packs do you have ? Your graphics chip is below minimum requirements for the game.

        Does your game run DX9 or DX11 ? You can find that next to the version number on the main menu.

        Please also open the file called config.log (in your documents folder) and check if this part

        === Graphics device info ===

        has your Nvidia card or your Intel chip listed.
