Sims clip into each other

Creating a new thread per Crinrict's request.

Sims cut through each other in various circumstances. Be it walking, climbing ladders, or literally anything else, they constantly pass through each other like ghosts, regardless of how much space there is in a room.

I had a AVI video that I recorded using the game's recording feature (why is it not supported here if it's what you guys chose is beyond me), but I guess a screenshot will have to do.

I've also been experiencing this a lot with my sims. I notice it most when they specifically stand inside one another instead of next to each other.

I so agree with you on this! Why not accepting AVI here when it is the only format they use in game? SMH*

Exactly, and I already give so much free labor here, I'm not looking up/paying for some way to convert them

PS more "too close for comfort" ESPECIALLY with ailments in the game now, sims should stay 6 feet apart lol

There are several free software that you can use to convert AVI into mp4, even online, but we shouldn’t even have to go through this since they use AVI in the first place.

PC / Base Game only / No mods or cc

My active sim attended a friend's birthday party. During the middle of the event, the caterer wandered away from the kitchen and sat down at the host's computer desk. The host (birthday boy) was already sitting there.

    It's a twofer-bug:
    1. the caterer wandering away from his job, AND
    2. a sim trying to occupy the same space as another sim.

Several of my sims and npc sims are doing that and have ben since the last update or possibly the one before, it can be difficult to separate them to talk to them. I find it happens a lot more when I visit a new lot or start a club gathering, sims are all bunched together and don't always separate when I resume the game, or they stay together looking like the OP's picture at the computer.

Vanilla game, no mods or CC ever, Windows, Direct X11.
