Sims excessively flirt with others

So I run a lot of sims at a time on save but I’ve done some play testing with smaller amounts of sims too, (1-3, instead of my typical 12-35) and anytime a dime is left alone or even as im playing them I will see what was supposed to be a regular chat turn into flirting 

a grand example of this was about 8 days ago I had 3 sims sat in the same household two straight guys and 1 straight girl (the straight gurl and one of the guys are “partners” because the game doesn’t put them down as boyfriend and girlfriend for some reason now?) and I have the guys start talking about “best captains” and I walk into my kitchen irl and turn around to see both make sims flirting and getting ready to make out in front of the girl. I went and check the new “jealousy preference” thing as well to be sure but everyone is set to to jealous and the guys were not set to exploring in any capacity 

it took me until today to get the original couple back together and I’m getting this issue constantly and since if one sim is hated by a sim from one of these interactions it affects all of that sims relationships this is an incredibly frustrating bug and I saw that they did an update in November but I really hope they roll out a new bug fix for stuff like this because 8 full households that took hours to set up are busted and I want to get other packs but I don’t wanna spend money if this is what the game is gonna be like to play now 

I’m not the only person having this problem seeing tons of posts on Reddit and even Facebook where people are having this issue and no one knows how to fix it, that’s my Ted talk please fix it so you can shut up and take my money
