Sims forget already existing relationships

i make friends with sims outside the household and it deletes completely every time i load the game again. yes i am saving it every time. also after my sims's husband died she didnt have any relationship with his ghost anymore.

I'm a PS5 player and I'm experiencing the exact same issue. It's happening to some of my Sims, not all of them. Even when we become good friends, the next time we meet we have to start introducing ourselves, which is sad.

Hi, recently playing enchanted by nature in Innisgreen world with multiple households. my sims made friends with each other from different households and after loading screens, the connections are lost - go back to strangers.

No CC/Mods. Repaired. EA APP on Macbook.

I'm having this issue now. Sims forget relationships even when friends or higher. 

My Sims keep forgetting relationships. They forget even when friends. It seems to be worse with the household that is being played most. It's getting annoying having to introduce self again multiple times every play session.

my sims cannot make friends with other sims cause the whole progress gets deleted. its only about sims from outside the family. inside the family relationship progress saves just fine

Ever since the update I have had Sims that I know my Sim knows randomly just vanishing from their list of people they know. Sometimes they are just acquaintances, sometimes they are even friends. They just vanish with no reason or explanation. If I go to the household of the Sim that vanished, they know longer know that Sim either.

It's really wrecking immersive gameplay and storytelling. 

I am having the same issue - even with smaller save files. Sims keep having to reintroduce themselves to other sims they have met before. No mods but CC. This is happening in all of my save files. 

OMG almost all of my sims have lost all of their relationships with other sims! To the point where they don't even have any other Sims appear in their relationship menu besides those in their household! So many hours of world building COMPLETELY GONE. And I have NEVER used mods or CC so they are not the culprit. Even if I load a previous save from a week ago, my Sims will still lose their relationships after awhile of me playing. I've cheated SOME of those relationships using the ModifyRelationship cheat code, but that was only for SOME of the relationships. PLEASE, PLEASE FIX. This is devastating and ruins the entire game and game play. 

Yeah. It’s one of the biggest issues with rotational play IMO. I really wish we could have the option to ‘save’ relationships, i.e. prevent certain relationships from being culled. It would be such a huge QOL upgrade for rotational players.
