Sims walk into the house to knock on the door. This bug occurs with any base game door, and I have not been able to replicate it with any other door.
Tested door rotation in both directions and bug still occurs.
Tested on another lot and bug continues to occur.
Could you please post a pic of the door in question.
Also are you using mods/cc ?
I have just conducted a few other gameplay tests as I thought it could have been my mods. I've removed mods and the issue is still occurring but now with every base game door (hence the edited bug post).
Picture attached is of the door that sent be down this bug testing spiral in the first place :)
Did you test these on a normal residential lot or a r-rental ?
EDIT: I don't have issues with this door. Did you delete the localthumbcache file after removing mods ?
I had this issue before. Whenever it happened to me, my door was on the wrong way. Check to see if the green arrows at the bottom of the door, when you pick it up, are facing the outside (grass area). Mine was facing the inside of the house, that is why this happened to me.
Edit: I see you tested it both ways, sorry for the reply. I don't have this issue right now
