In my household, I have a sim who goes to work and two who go to school before the detective career starts. Since the latest update whenever I click “join” to go to work with my detective sim to play the career, it brings everyone who went to work/school home for the day (at 9am sims time). It’s just slightly frustrating as my sims are going down in performance at their jobs/school as a result. I’m just not sure if there’s a way to fix this or if I will have to wait for the next update.

I've just recently started having this happen within the last week or so. crinrict, I actually followed your factory reset instructions, and on the new file, it still happened with a completely new group of sims (adults and children). I was hoping it was a mod that I could update or toss out, but seems its a bug within the game itself in my case. To be safe, I did make sure to check on latest updates for all my mods and made sure I had latest versions.
No last exception being triggered when the issue happens and it's happened with different families within the same save. My main family that I play is a family of four, 2 of which are children in school and one who has a career. The other adult I have has a small business on a lot outside of the home, so anytime I leave with her, the others return home early (having been paid, but lowering work performance). And its not if I travel only to the small business lot, its any lot she goes to that triggers the issue.
