Ideas
In my household, I have a sim who goes to work and two who go to school before the detective career starts. Since the latest update whenever I click “join” to go to work with my detective sim to play the career, it brings everyone who went to work/school home for the day (at 9am sims time). It’s just slightly frustrating as my sims are going down in performance at their jobs/school as a result. I’m just not sure if there’s a way to fix this or if I will have to wait for the next update.

This is happening in my game too, and it is not Get To Work exclusive. Basically, when one sim in the household is at work and you travel with another sim in the household that's not working to another lot, the one that was working immediately comes home.
