Sims leave job/school after another sim travels

If you travel with another sim in the household it sends other sims that are working home from work and their performance then tanks because they've missed most of their shift from work due to the bug. 

I'm having the same issue.  I don't have mods installed.  I even created a brand new game using brand new sims that I created just to test. When one of my sims went to work (he's in the business career so its a base game career), I made the other one travel to the park. Before the screen even fully comes out of the loading screen, I hear the money sound like money was added to the household and then I see the notification that the sim has left work once the screen is done loading.  This has never been an issue before; sims in my household were previously going to work while others were traveling and doing other stuff with their day with no problem.  This only started happening lately, within the last week or so.

Since the update every time any of my Sims are at work they will immediatly come back as soon as I leave the area (wether I go throught manage world or using the travel mobile option). In case it has to do, the jobs they have are Doctor, Scientist, Fashionista, Covert Operator and Politician.

I removed my mods and this still happens. I wasn't happening before the last update.  

If anyone from my household is at work or school, and I travel with the sim who is off everybody instantly returns home for the day and cannot be sent back to work/school. This is causing my sims to only earn $1 for the day or missing promotions etc. because they do not finish their work day.  This is if I travel anywhere: from home to a separate lot, from an outside lot back home, or even if my household is already at work/school and the sim I’m playing goes to work later in the day, everybody including that sim returns home for the day.

I'm getting the same issue, it only started after the latest patch. Thought it might be a mod issue so I removed them all and it was still happening. This is very frustrating as my teen sim just keeps losing performance because of coming home early when I travel with other sims. I am playing the active doctor career so I tried sending that sim to work alone and travel with another sim not in an active career - same issue.

I am experiencing the same problem. Whenever there is a loading screen (changing lot, entering CAS, etc.) any Sims at work immediately come home. I have tried reinstalling the game with no mods or CC and a new save from scratch. The problem persists.

I just want to know that EA is working on this problem. It's making the game nearly unplayable for me.

The new update definitely threw everything else off. Ever since the Natures Calling event started that’s been happening 

This bug began appearing sometime after I purchased the Island Living expansion pack, so I am not sure if it is related to that pack or another problem. Basically, one or more household sims will leave for work or school from their residential lot, and then I will have one or more sims travel off the residential lot to another. The moment I have the sim leave the residential lot, every other household sim who is at work or school will return prematurely. They will also take a hit to their work or school performance.

When my sim as at university class and I travel to another lot with a different sim in the household, she will automatically return to the home lot  before her class ends. I am unable to have her return to class once she is back on the home lot.

Anytime a sim is at work and another sim that is in the household travels off lot, the sim returns home from work. This makes it almost impossible to progress in a career unless only one sim works away from the home. I didn't have this problem until after this last update.
