Sims leave job/school after another sim travels

The exact same thing happens to me. Every time a Sim travels and another one is away, whether at work or school, they come back out of nowhere and their performance drops. It's frustrating.

I have a family of 5. The kids or parents come home early from work & school when another Sim leaves the house. This is dropping the kids responsibility trait & the parents aren't making money 

This is so annoying! I have 4 teens and doing the Legacy challenge, when they're at school, it's the only time I have time to get "jobs" done and focus on the parents. UGH!

If one of my Sims is at work/school, and i take other members of their household to another lot, that Sim comes home from work/school early. This happens every time recently so possibly a glitch/bug. Is this happening to anyone else? I dont use CC or mods.

This has been happening to me for several weeks now and has made the game unplayable. I have no mods installed. It happens with all career types, all ages, all households, etc. The game doesn't crash but has overall become more noticeably laggy as well. I will not resume playing and will not purchase any more packs from EA games until this is fixed. It is unacceptable that EA Games is churning out new content to make more money but totally ignoring the basic elements that make the game functional.

I have the same issue, whenever i want to travel with a sim, if another one is at school or work it returns them early. It's annoying 😑

My sims will return from work autonomously if i have another sim in the household leave the lot or if I have them go to work while on a different lot that isn't home. There is no option to have them go back to work either. This has happened on both ps4 and ps5.

I will have one sim go to work and then the other sim is home. I decide to send the one at home to another lot and when he traveled it shows that the other one is back at home and only received some of their pay since they left early. This has happened 100% of the time this week that I have been playing. I did recently buy the nature expansion pack so I'm not sure if that may be the reason.

That's exactly what my problem was. For me it seemed to be related to changing my career outfit because when I changed it back to the default the problem stopped. Could be that I just lucked out but I thought I would mention it anyway in the off chance it helps someone else.

Does EA Games even care about this issue? This is a MAJOR glitch. I don't understand why it has not been fixed yet. Players here are so gentle and kind. If it were in South Korea, EA Games must have worked on it so fast as gamers here usually take to streets and protest until it's solved.
Given that the expansion packs are so expensive, they NEED to work on it, seriously.
