Sims leave job/school after another sim travels

I have this issue as well, have tried with and without mods. Tried switching families with different age groups, when first loading a saved game if I had sims at work or school I always get a question if I want to bring my sims back early, at least I can say no. But if I send a sim that is home to another lot while others are at work/school while playing, they just automatically go home and end their day early once my active sim gets to their destination lot. Its really annoying and I just keep my sims home more when others are at work/school and I need them to make money or progress....

Same, as soon as I travel with a sim, all the others stop working. Unplayable. No mods.

Sims who are at school or work automatically return home when another household Sim travels to a different lot. This affects all ages and careers, disrupting gameplay and progression.

How do I fix this?

I've been dealing with this same issue. What seemed to fix it for me was playing through the Natures Enchanted event until I was all caught up. Also making sure no more events/journeys were active. Now I can travel with my sim and my other sims stay at school and work.

I've had this issue too ever since the new update. If one sim is at school/work, and I want to travel with a sim that isn't working that day or in school, the sims that went to school/work gets sent back home when the traveling sim reaches their destination. It's strange because the game will say they successfully completed their day at work/school, but the sim I have in school has seen her performance start to drop, and sometimes I don't get the usually work salary afterwards, and the work performance has started going down too. 

Thank you, I'm having the same issue, along with a myriad of other problems. My sims have also stopped getting promotions and now only get raises which seems to be yet another bug. 

This game is becoming unplayable. 

This has been happening to me too!! I have never even played with mods so it have to be the game itself

Since the last update, I've been encountering a weird bug, where my sims automatically come back from work whenever I travel/join another sim in their careers. For example, if the teen in my family is in school and I travel to my family's shop, I get a notification about him leaving school and he appears to be back home with other sims who haven't traveled. The same happens everytime after the loading screen finishes. If someone has a uni a lecture, now they don't. If someone went to work, now they're back, with 9$ after a barely started work day.

Because of all this, my game is starting to get unplayable, since all my main household's sims are employed and their performance suffers from constantly skipping work :(( I need to act very dodgy all the time, to make sure their working hours don't overlap with each other or other events, which is getting frustrating.

I'm pretty certain it's a bug, that needs fixing, especially considering that similar issues were happening right after University or High School Years came out. Does anyone else have this problem?

After the update on July 1st, if one of my Sims is at school or work and I travel somewhere with the rest of the family, that Sim automatically comes back home.

To me this happens only when the Nature Calling quest is active. After I've finished them, Sims stay at work or school when traveling with another sim.
