When sim does the drawing, it doesn't last and stops during the work.

My sim will only paint for a few seconds before stopping as if the painting has been finished but it hasn't.
It doesn't matter what mood they are in.
Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- Are you painting inside or outside and how's the weather ?
No mods or custom content.
Painting inside and the weather is sunny (I don't have seasons exp).
I have to select to resume painting at least 2-3 times for the task to continue.
I have also noticed other tasks over run and don't end when they should. E.g. talking to someone and the icon will stay.
I've now found when I select for a sim to clean a plate or put the rubbish in the trash can, nothing happens.
I had issues with my Sim yesterday but it was outside and raining so I assumed that was the problem. When I moved the easel it would then work fine.
What happens if you disable autonomy for this specific sim in the options ?
I thought it was just me I'm also experiencing the same issue I removed my mods and same issue
