Sims not responding to commands.

Since I got the new fairy pack, my sim refuses to complete certain commands. Some of them being using the toilet, getting food, sitting etc. When I tell them to do, for example, go shower she will either stand in place and not move unless I cancel the command, or go to try and do it and stand in front again without doing anything. It does not matter if I try to use another shower, she will do the same thing.
