My sims newest obsession: Lighting fireplaces. I always install autolight upgrades so when they get there it has lit itself and the task fails. They go to another room, and within a few moments they are going back to try and light the fireplace that turned off when they left the prior room. I just had a sim do this 3 times in a row, walking away from a conversation I was actively directing her to have to light a fireplace that doesn't need lighting.
I pulled my mods to check and it doesn't change. I saw this in a very large household I have been playing but I didn't realize how frequently it happens until I logged into a smaller home where my attention wasn't split up so much.
As a side note, my issue with the cell phone isn't that they actually use it too much to play a game or whatever. Its that they have way too many idle animations where they stop to look at it and fiddle with it when they aren't actually doing anything on it. Will these new cooldowns have any effect on the idle animations?
This is what I mentioned in my post about phones - there is no action in queue, the animation for looking at the phone appears unexpectedly, makes no sense and is excessive.
You are right, it’s like animation issue, not even excessive use.
