Sims who are friends, neighbors, or random Sims my household knows keep walking straight into my house even if I’ve got the doors locked. They’ll come in and start interacting with the other Sims in my household. Sometimes they ask my Sim to be their best friend, go to prom, or even move in. The only time this doesn’t seem to happen is if I have a butler on the lot, which somehow stops it.
It’s especially bad when I live in Sulani near the water. I actually had to build a locked gate around my diving dock because Sims would stroll right into my house through the dock.
Is this a known bug or just how the game works now? Has anyone found a consistent workaround besides fencing myself in?
Hi there! I'm upvoting this because I’m dealing with the same issue, especially on residential lots in Sulani.
It seems like lots near open water let random Sims waltz in like they own the place, LOL.
This happens with two of my households in Sulani. For now, I’ve locked all doors to “Everyone But Household,” but it’s a hassle when invited guests can’t get in easily.
On the bright side, it’s kinda satisfying when paparazzi trespass. I can kill all off them /evil laugh/
This bug’s been around forever, and since the team hasn’t fixed it, I’m starting to wonder if it’s just part of the gameplay, haha. Thanks for posting!
