Sims Stand while Eating Ordered Meals at food stands

This is happening with me too! I thought this update was supposed to fix this

It truly is a joke at this point.

Could you maybe put a small list of what's still affected for you in the first post ?

Also, if it's still residential and Dine Out, make new threads for those individually so this can be properly tracked.

It doesn't make a difference, i think the wording of the title makes it sound like it's just for stalls, but it's just in any public space for most sims (mostly noticeable for sims outside the household, from testing, but it could likely be affecting all sims, i'm not too sure on the technical aspects of it). Active sims seem to lean towards sitting when told to eat, but other sims just don't seem to do it whenever they're consuming any food (the consume interaction is pretty global and doesn't differentiate between situations, so it should be a relatively easy issue to track down).

The restaurant seating to dine situation is fixed from what I'm seeing, as there's other things making sims sit down, but that's unrelated to this specific problem of sims just not sitting down to eat meals

Anything where you can buy something at an object can be summarized as food stall. All the examples you gave sound like these. Vending machine, cafeteria, food stalls, basically anything you can buy food at.

The question is, do you also see it at home still with guests ? Do you see it on public lots with grills or other means of cooking ? Like if they cook themselves and not buy it somewhere. 

I couldn't think of a better word than food stalls but it sounds different than the bugs that got fixed.

At home, guests and sims seem to sit down to eat
The grill in public thing is hard to test for me, as I'm struggling to find situations where I can guarantee the activity enacted at all as it involves a lot more waiting around, unlike the stall/cafeteria stall/vending machine ones

I think in general there was some confusing/inconsistent wording as the video promo said sims should sit down as if it's a global thing, but the excel file from maxis/patch notes only mention the fix for restaurants

The other main thread might have been a bit of a mixture and was also closed fix but it's good to have separate threads for separate situations so all can get looked at. It's really hard to tell what should be separate and what shouldn't be, especially if there are old established threads.
