I haven't been using mods. Infants have been troublesome. Many times I can't get anyone to do anything because they just stand there and wait for the infants animations to stop and they queue up every other option except infant care.
I even had a bug where I got fed up and ordered a nanny and she was able to do the care for the infant, but then I had a stream of about 10-12 nannies show up and drain the families account. So I fired all the nannies and just cheat the infants happy because it's just easier than trying to get the parents to actually interact with them. The parents basically choose every other option than the one I want them to do which is infant care of some kind.
As much as I love the baby, infant, toddler time I've gotten to the point of just aging them up to child if there is more than one.
