To add to this, while playing a child at a Gibbi Point kids camp getaway, my infant at home with their parents was constantly going into the RED with 4 of its needs. As in, 100% drained. Only hygiene and energy was able to remain green.
The two parents 'at home' were not taking care of the infant at all.
I was also not getting any warnings about the infant being taken away for neglect.
Same thing happened to me - went to Gibbi point on camp with a child sim and at various points in time noticed all the home sims - mother, toddler, infant all heading to the red with their pics - switched to main household and cheated their needs back to green. I don't think the "take care of self" is coded right to handle needs while you don't play with them - not just taking care of the infants.
Infant was all in the red in all things for me though - not sure if I didn't go back to the main household if he would have been taken away if I just ignored what was happening with the main household or if the game would have eventually fixed the infants & other sims needs at some point but I panicked that the infant and toddler might be taken away which is what made me switch back to the main household to fix the needs of the sims I was not playing, leaving the child at the camp.
It really interrupts the flow (in my opinion) that I have to worry about the needs of the "at home" sims. If they are at home can I just ignore them please and play with the child sim at camp because that is currently what I want to do.
