Apart from the fact that the "hotFix" is not yet visible to me in the EA APP, does this mean that the failed patch that did NOT fix our black Sims and animals will not get a new patch and we will now have to deal with the problem that YOU caused us with your penultimate, untested "update patch" alone?
Loading an old save file and loading our affected black families and animals into our library and reloading them into the game again is no real help, because a lot will get lost in the process, such as game saves, friendships and achievements already achieved, etc.
Another option would be to roll back your save to a previous version. That's what I'm going to try. It's definitely not ideal, we're going to lose progress, but it might be easier than removing and replacing all of the black pets.
Ugh. Didn't work. All the files in the save are corrupted with black pets. 🤨

do you have a backup save? I have and am wondering, if using my backup save file would do any difference to our black issue. Haven't tested yet because I don't even have the recent patch showing up yet.
