Sims won’t clean up dishes and will only do one item if told to do so

I am having a different issue with dishes - one of my sims (third sim) cannot wash them, in the dishwasher, any of the sinks etc. . She will gather up the dishes and then go put them down. If i drag the dishes to the dishwasher, it starts. If my second sim (married into house) does dishes though, she just uses the dishwasher normally. There's no obstructions or anything. The new (third) sim has the neat trait. I believe that my first sim and my maid are also having this issue but i need to test further. Edit: I do not currently use any mods or cc
