If my Sim has recently been flirting with a guy (they aren't even romantic partners), she repeatedly wakes up in the night just to think about them. It happens multiple times a night even if she is not fully rested.
She is sleeping alone. She gets up and does the thinking about whoever interaction. She does not go back to bed unless I tell her to.
