Sims/Pets age up multiple times in a row

Similarly, I just had a toddler age up, and then immediately age up into a teen after I clicked out of the window to select his trait. I know for a fact that this is related to the patch because yesterday this same sim aged up perfectly fine, I'd forgotten to save and my cat turned off my PC, so I had to replay that section. While I do have mods, script mods are turned off; nothing CAS-related should be causing this.

While I do have mods, script mods are turned off. The only custom content I have is cosmetic. Nothing CAS-related should be causing this, as the only change to my game between this and the last I played was the patch update. 

Something in your recent update broke the age-up system again. You need to isolate whatever is making this issue regularly happen.

If, for any reason, EA is delaying bug fixes for pack development, let them kindly know that I, and many others, refuse to buy more packs until the game I've already paid for is fixed. This game is thousands of dollars in the hole for someone who has every pack up until this point.

People will abandon this franchise if these issues continue to escalate.

This is still happening to me. Both of my infant sims recently aged up twice into children. Playing with TMs BBB mod but thats it.
