I noticed this in all of my builds after updating. I'm not sure if it's the Feb or March patch because I skipped the first big update a couple of weeks ago.
No mods or CC installed.
I believe this issue has happened before and was fixed in an update last year.
minosimu_nz The walls dropping under stairs is not a bug. The game has always done that when you have the walls set to both cutaway and wall down views in both live and build mode in a vanilla (no mods/no CC) game. This is how it is designed to work. I did notice that when I tested in my main save where I do use both mods and CC, those walls did not drop in cutaway view in build mode only. I don't know why that happened, only that it did and can only assume that I have something in my mods folder that caused it to act that way. Since you are not using any mods or CC, what you show in your pic is normal though.

minosimu_nz Tbh, Idk what that is about exactly but it certainly seems to say that the walls underneath the stairs won't drop when in cutaway view. It could be about some other change but I don't know for sure. But that is actually what I had when I looked at it in my main save. But it was in build mode only, not live. It didn't happen in my vanilla test game. I can see where it might be helpful in live mode though. So, either the change never worked correctly or some other change since has undone that change. It wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.
