I have multiple staircases in my sims house and the light is passing through every single floor but mostly only onto the sim and some furniture causing my sim to glow but the room to be dark the only way to fix the issue is by blocking off the stairs and making them into there own special glowing sim stair hallway which I really don't want to do as I already fully decorated the house to my liking and I don't wanna have to redo it all.
The first picture shows my sims house as normal with my sim glowing, the second shows when I completely block off the stairs and the lighting is normal (same effect happens when all staircases in the room are deleted that's how I know it's the stairs causing it) and the third picture shows that when all the lighting in that room is deleted the room is dark but the sim and some furniture is not.
I've have a couple mods like mcc, tool and better build buy but I loaded the game with no mods and the issue still persists.
