This has been happening for quite a long while now or your sim will win an award and because of the constant moving around or problems with the presenter it never gets around to your sim. I've found it can be so bad that it's just not worth collecting the award unless you need it for the aspiration.
I play on a windows gaming laptop with direct x11 and all drivers etc updated, no mods or cc ever and my game is always up to date.
