[START HERE] Crashing/Back to Map/Endless loading (Patch 117.221)

Instructions for DxDiag 

• Press Windows-Key + R
•  Type: DxDiag
• Click on Save all Information.
•  Attach the Text File to your post by clicking on the clip icon in the toolbar.

Instructions for LastUIExceptions, LastExceptions, LastCrash

You can find those files in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. You will probably have quite a few of them so please delete them all and let the game create fresh ones.

• Delete the ones you have
• Trigger the error again
• Check if new ones are created

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting. 

If the game creates a new file, make sure to include them in your post. Unfortunately you can't upload those type of files as they contain XML formatting. 

There are three options how you can provide them

• Open the file with any text editor and copy/paste the content to your post.
• Upload the file to some file sharing site and post the link (make sure the link is public)
• Open the file and delete this part from the file: <?xml version="1.0" ?><root>. Save it. You should now be able to attach the text file to your post by clicking on the clip icon in the toolbar.
