Since the update I can not play the sticky Fingers aspiration anymore by swiping items. My sim has level 10 in Mischief and she was able to swipe items before the update. I know there was a fix swiping items of high value when the sims has a low skill level. But my sim has level 10 in mischief, how am I supposed to accomplish this aspiration. Need to swipe 250,000 worth of stuff!!!

I have also had this issue since the update. My sim has level 7 mischief and has never had issues swiping objects before. I tried multiple different items which were previously swipeable and the "attempt to swipe" option is no longer there. I do not have Business and Hobbies. No mods either.
On console and experiencing a similar issue. I have a Sim with Level 10 mischief and I just went to have them do the Sticky Fingers aspiration and there is literally no object that has "attempt to swipe". I am curious if I need the Klepto trait to do this aspiration?
Having the same issue for Sticky Fingers aspiration. No mods/CC. Level 10 mischief skill. All packs/kits except the two that released this month.
Sim cannot swipe any object. He does not have 'swipe an object' interaction. Tried with different sims. Delete aspiration of fix it, please
Hi - I started having an issue where i had a sim switch to this aspiration from in game (not CAS) and they were unable to swipe at all.
I disabled mods and tried again and had the same issue so i started a new save (all packs, no mods or cc) and created 2 sims,
one that had the aspiration from CAS
one that switched to the aspiration in game
the one that had the aspiration from CAS, with mischief, could Swipe using the aspiration, the one that switched in game could not.
I play on PC, EA App, and am playing offline mode on version 1.117.244.1020
This is happening to me too. My sim has the kleptomaniac trait and the sticky fingers aspiration, and is unable to swipe anything. Her Mischief skill is at level 4 and I have tried clicking on every item I could find (particularly cheap things like clutter) in public lots as well as other sims’ houses, and I’ve made sure she’s alone each time. No option to attempt to swipe appears.
I hope the fix launching on Nov. 4 for this aspiration works. It seems to be affecting on wider scale than what the devs found to be the cause just from what I read here and doing some testing on my own. Tried out a different household in my legacy save that doesn't own any businesses. That Sim had a Mischief level of 4, no "Attempt to Swipe" on any small objects. I also made a new save and cheated to max out the Mischief skill. Still no option.
I can attest to joytapper's findings. The option did appear when I assigned the aspiration to a couple of Sims in CAS. I did test to see if this workaround solution would work with existing Sims in my legacy/current saves. Turning on cheats to modify in CAS or from Manage Worlds doesn't seem to do it. Only through new households via CAS.
I will be doing some more testing after the update pushes on Nov. 4. Hopefully, their fix will bring back the option for everybody. I would love to be able make more progress on this aspiration once more.
Sticky Fingers Aspiration: A Sim with an owned business can now swipe properly at Mischief level 10.
