Haven't seen any reports of this happening before. Is this your first time playing the scenario ? If not, did you have issues in the past ?

- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
Hello, I am having the same problem. I have no mods/cc. I have tried quitting the job which only allows me to rejoin as the esports competitor or the next big thing. I have also tried restarting the scenario, but it happened a second time. Very frustrating
I just installed the game, no mods or CC, am getting same issue. Hit programmer 4, go to work, get promoted, and it instantly asks to branch the career into entrepreneur or e-sports. Does not give credit for hitting level 5

I am having the same problem on xbox. Jumps straight from ace engineer to the next big thing.
I'm also on Xbox and having the same issues. 2nd time restarting this Scenario.
I don't have any mod and had the same problem tonight
In the screen you can see the actual level job: Ace Engineer (Tech Guru 4). Then, I took Nova to her job first time and made her work hard to complete the objective.
Instead get promoted to Project Manager (Tech Guru 5), the branch career window poped up.
As there's no way to cancel this, we are pushed to the next level of one of the carrer branches, blocking us from complete the objective.
As you can see in the second pic, the job is wrongly shown as level 5, the career get stuck, when you advance it only increase that number with a plus, as if we reached the end of the career and just geting incresing the gains.
I already tried to reset the scenario and play it again, repaired the game, but the same still occurrs.
