Stuck on 3x speed

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
• What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)

I have no Mods and I am playing on a Mac. It happens every time they go to sleep, and the game automatically speeds up, and then it gets stuck. It also started happening when they were doing nothing. My sim had a baby, and then the 2 adult sims froze, and the time sped up. I can't click on anything, and I can't save. I just have to quit the game.

Does it get stuck at that time if you prevent it from speeding up ? Does it happen on a new save too ?

omg same, i have 2 save files, i tried to play with and without mods on save files 1 and it seems fine especially when i tried to 3x speed and i can save the game. but on my save files 2 i tried with mods (haven't tried without mods bcs im afraid it will lose all my cc) to 3x speed it stuck and i cant pause so i force quit

Hi cahayass​ 

Please follow these steps to test  your game on vanilla game with no mods/cc

• Create a backup of your save game
• Move your mods folder to the desktop
• Delete the following files from your user folder.
  • localthumbcache
  •  Any lastException Files
  • Any LastCrash files.
• Test your save (you will loose all cc on the save but since you created a backup you can go back to that afterwards) and see if the same error occurs, then report back.

It does kind of but the first time it happened on a brand new save while the sim was interacting with other sims and I had gone onto x3 speed. The second occasion was on a completely different save and it kept happening when they went to sleep and the game automatically went to 3x speed. I tried to stop it by pressing play but it didn’t work. When I went back on it later it they froze again and it sped up while they were interacting with a baby. So there seems no correlation for when it happens. 

i follow the instructions and now even without mods it stuck at the loading screen
