Sudden money changes (Negative/0/Max)

I had a household in the world that comes with Businesses & Hobbies. I moved this household by phone to the new world that comes with Enchanted by nature. He had 21,700 something simoleans, and after loading in the new world, the household had 0 simoleans. I think this a new bug that comes with the new update or pack. I've never experienced this problem before.

    1. Tried it but nothing happened.
    2. One time thing.
    3. No idea.
    4. Yes, used a sim I made before as a base but he did not have that much money.
    5. Nope. Nothing.
  • Something seems a bit wonky. Merged this with another thread.

When I move a household - either via the phone or via manage households when in manage worlds - the household funds go wonky and I lose way more than I should. I am not currently playing with any mods, and I tried to move again after deleting localthumbache, just to see if that helped. But this actually happened earlier in this same game, the first time I moved the family as well. I cheated to get back the funds I had, but now realizing it may be a bigger issue.

I have provided screenshots to show the issue - my family has over 23k in funds when moving, the house they move into is just under 20k. In the initial move window, it says my family will have a little under 4k in household funds, which is the appropriate calculation. But as you can see in the screenshot, once playing the family in the new lot, they are now at over -2k. So that's about a 6k difference, 6k that is being taken away from my household in the move for no apparent reason.

/Also, to add to above, I "sold furniture", but there wasn't much to sell - however, all of the inventory items that were in the apothecary table and any other storage item are also all gone. I'm guessing it got sold with the furniture, but I don't remember that being how it used to work. I might be wrong, but previously when I had storage items in my household inventory, whatever was within those items remained there when moving. Not sure if the two are connected, but sharing in case they are.

But for me there was no old house. I moved the sims there directly from CAS.

I have a standard family, I played the game without any money cheats (just testing and moving objects).

When I earned around 160,000 simoleons, I put all the family items in my inventory and moved to a new house (the second most expensive in the base world).

The problem (if I can call it that) is that I was credited with 9,999,999 simoleons.

    Does anyone know why?

    Thanks for your tips!

Did this happen just one time, or has it happened with other households too? Try testing with another household to see if the same thing occurs again when moving them.

  • I've been having a same problem. I'm trying to keep my furniture between households, but when I move I suddenly have no simoleons and noon of my furniture. :/
