Terrain paint disappears after leaving lot

PC, no mods, no CC. Have had both all of the terrain paint applied disappear after closing game and re-opening, and yesterday, only one terrain paint stuck, Scratchy in Patches, like the last comment. There were at least 4 other terrain paints down. This does not seem to be an issue on every lot, as some of my builds have retained their terrain paint. 

I just had this happen and the sloped roofs with the smallest possible overhang (touches the walls) had their roof trim vanish and will not come back!  

Mac, no mods, no CC. Terrain disappeared completely after reopening my save file. It is a new blank save file with only on other Lot and one household. I knew this Bug exists but it is the first time it happened to me. Guess I was too optimistic about the recent fixes. 

Update on my report. I was spraying the Willow Creek park, got the whole thing done. I save (twice to be on the safe side) and quit for the night. Come back next morning, and half my work is gone. All the items I placed post-spray are still there.

PC, all packs, no CC, Windows 11 24H2.

I'm so tired of this bug not being fixed yet. I put my soul into the most beautiful building I've ever made, then I accidentally clicked on some shortcut which sent me to mange worlds. Then boom all terrin paint gone. I tried desperately to fix it with everything I could think of. Clicked on the gallery and boom the game crashed because apparently that's too much to ask for even though I have a strong PC. This bug has been known for years and nothing is happening? Not even an attempt to fix it? I do have CAS CC and one mod installed. 

I’ve been building a lot lately. Anytime I add or change anything to my build I ALWAYS SAVE. I was about half way done with my build and decided to take a break only to come back and my terrain paint is completely gone. Mind you I saved and logged off properly. What could’ve caused this?  

In my game, the terrain paint disappears at the map view (the park and museum's), but it's just fine when I visit. I wonder if it's related to this bug? 

I don't use mods for this save file.

This has been going on for ages, I don't understand what more info you could possibly need. Just had half of my train paint disappear after leaving the lot to playtest and then reloading the save. It was there when I saved before playtesting. It was there while playtesting. It was gone after reloading. Only part of it was gone. The first lot of pebbles and pavers remained, but the dirt I put down at the same time disappeared, and the pebbles I put down later disappeared. I had the same issue over a year ago in a different lot. Thankfully this one didn't have as meticulous shaping but it's still extremely frustrating.

Oh, and I've never had mods or CC, and it's a different save to the previous one with the same issue, in fact it's a very recent save (within the last few weeks) that I've been using purely for building until they fix the pet issue.

On my five previous builds, as soon as I leave the lot (to go home or manage worlds ect) and come back to the lot for the first time, all terrain paint is gone. It only seems to happen after the first initial travel, after that it has stayed.  It can take hours upon hours to create intricate terrains, so this bug is really awful.
