The game doesn't work properly when there is an infant in the household

Your sims will just stand there watching your infants even if u have them give them baths and feed them. My infants have been taken away because the sims just wont feed them, even if I tell them to and reset them they just stare. Half the time you go to bath the toddlers and ur sims will just pick them up and put them back down over and over again. The items are not bugged its the infants and toddlers. Im on Xbox one and it gives me problems.
