The New Update - Unable to load lots

I updated my game, and now my game refuses to load any lots. I can start the game, choose which save I want to play, enter CAS, and world menu, but if I try to load any lot (regardless of the lot type), the loading screen appears and a few seconds later, I'm back to the main menu or world menu (depending on which way I went) with an error message. The error code that appears is: 122:dd7d01fa:aab9abe8.

I have updated all the mods with available updates and removed the ones that are still waiting for an update (and deleted the thumb cache, ofc). This didn't change anything, so I removed ALL mods, CC, and deleted the thumb cache again, but the problem remains.

I have restarted the game, the EA app, and my computer multiple times, but nothing has fixed it.

My game worked yesterday (before the update was launched), and since I no longer have any mods or CC in my game, the only thing that could be causing the problem is the new update...

Did you repair the game? Can you try a new Sims 4 folder by renaming the current one so the game creates a new one and you can test a completely new clean game please.

I think this is similar to the one already existing, but somehow I'm getting access denied on that one so voted for this one instead.

Hello, I've tried starting my game three times today, and it won't let me load my plot. Please help.

  • thanks to the new update which made my game unplayable... impossible to start the game with any home even with a new one... EA you are really doing anything.

Hey guys I had this same issue the best temporary solution is to turn off your script mods in options then restart your game. I spent three hours trying to find out what mod was doing then I did this and I can load into my saves. Ea will need to fix this asap, or the script mod creators need to figure it out.

That problem is being caused by mods that use .ts4script scripts—not all of them, but most. For example, MCCC and mods from Lot51 use scripts and work fine, but there are others that cause the problem. All the other mods that aren't .ts4script work. If you only have a few mods, you can temporarily move them to find the bad one. But if you have thousands, you'll have to disable them as one of the comments above suggested
