The past couple of days, the townies in my game put on their heavy kicker boots, and went trash can hunting on my lot every night.
You can try and put out a trash can out, which is normally immune such mischief, you can try and hide in the far back of your lot - doesn't matter. Townies come with a strong determination, aiming straight for it... and it WILL go down nomatter the type. And they always come in the night in my game for some reason. And they come, kick it, and then leave as nothing happened, they are not even mad.
Just to be clear, this is all trash cans, but here I am talking about the trash cans which normally cannot be kicked over. And you can't lift those, nor can you make them snap back upright through BB, which means that every Sim day I need to go in to BB to delete the trash can and buy a new one.
So I stopped using trash can's all together, and placed a dumpster in the hope that they at least can't kick that one over, and so far it works. Now I instead have nightly trash roamers in MY trash, which is also placed in the very back of my lot together with my house haha.
Please, can you save the trash cans from this fate? (and maybe lessen NPC's suddon obsession with the trash on yor lot haha) I know it's a smaller thing, but it is really annoying to be HAVING to use a dumpster if you don't wanna fix your outside trashcan all the time through sell/buy.
