Trash cans are unclickable

Could you please provide the following information

• What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox). Please pick a thread tag for that.
• Any LastException/LastCrash files in your documents folder. Upload them to either google or oneDrive and post the link here.
• To be sure, you have the issue with any indoor trash cans or just specific ones ?
• Did you try a folder reset and test a new save after removing mods/cc ?

I have this issue with both indoor and outdoor trashcans. I tested it earlier and it seems now I can drag trash into it, but I cannot click on it. I did not test in a new save or do  a folder reset but this has been happening to me in my previous save files as well.

I'm having the same issue. The indoor trash cans work, but the outdoor trash bins aren't able to be interacted with. Hovering over an outside trashcan gives me no outline. Clicking on it does nothing. Shift+click and Reset Item did not work. I tried clearing cache and removing my mods, started a brand new save, and I'm still having the issue.

I'm on PC.
