Re: Game failing to launch. Windows flagging TS4_Launcher_x64.exe as Trojan

(FIXED) whatever got changed with this new update, for some reason its triggering my windows defender with the location of the trojan being "TS4_Launcher_x64.exe" and its weird because it updated 2 days ago and i played it just fine, but the day after this started happening.

i have zero clue how to reproduce this, i only found a reddit thread relating to it (title is "sims 4 had an upd"). so far when i've tried repairing the game, it doesnt even go past 50% without setting off the Trojan & i've even uninstalled it entirely and reinstalled, boom still occurring. my fire wall allows the launcher file, and for pirating purposes, nothing on my account/in my game files are pirated.
