There is some kind of bug when I enter building mode. When I build an empty house, I can't save it, and when I press the menu (···)? button, the screen goes black. When I build a house with a Sim in it, I can save it, but after returning from building mode, all the items at the bottom of the screen disappear. Also, when I go out, the bottom of the screen disappears in the same way. It seems to be fine as long as I stay in the household and play.

are you guys playing a scenario or are you getting this without one too ?
93Catastrophe the issue might be connected to the scenario. Don't know if getting rid of it is an option for you but could you test on a backup of ending the scenario gets rid of the issue for you ?

So my game has been bugged for the past few days and i'm at a loss. I'll go buy something from build mode and then leave build mode, when i leave build mode everything at the bottom of the screen disappears and when i try to click anything, no options show up. Luckily i can save by clicking esc but when i go to the main menu the screen turns black. I have updated my drivers, reinstalled the game and all of the packs, deleted all of my mods, deleted that cache folder, removed my mod folder and even the base game is having the issue. Not sure what else to do.
It happens with me often with the Curious Scenario, with and without mods, vanilla entirely, but also happens out of scenarios, just seemingly less. I recently deleted the entire directory and my saves, uninstalled, and reinstalled. It's done it since in both a created household game and a scenario.
I just updated my game recently this week because the majority of my mods got updated. After I first updated, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and also repaired it out of habit. And now I’m having a lot of glitches and bugs. The first bug was that when I would go into build to replace a lot, everything would be fine until I exited build mode into live mode and my entire live mode UI would not reappear. Then I would go back into build mode trying to fix it and then I wouldn’t have any build mode UI. And when it tried to fix it again, my excitement to manage worlds and my game would load into a completely black screen, and it would do the same thing when I tried to exit to the main menu. After completely exiting the game, it gave me multiple UI last exceptions but I couldn’t completely read them so I just decided to delete them and tried to troubleshoot on my own. I looked at a post from a few years ago that stated that the UI Cheats mod caused this same issue so I took it out of my Mods folder and then loaded my game again. It loaded into my household fine, but then I could click on any of my Sim’s panels, and I could click on the gallery, exit menu, or even the **bleep** promo cart button, but I could enter build mode, and there was no UI. And this time I couldn’t exit build mode. I have never experienced this issue before and I don’t understand what happened because I’m pretty good about updating my mods and not updating until lots of mod updates have been released already. I have attached these last new exception files and a screenshot of what is happening.
