I'm still playing completely without mods or custom content.
I'm currently using the feature that lets you lock doors. My nanny, the gardener, and the housekeeper can all walk through the doors.
Only the new Upgrade Technician stands in front of the door, says she can't help me, and leaves right away. As soon as I open the door, she comes in and gets to work.
Before starting the game, I...
- Cleared the cache
- Repaired the game
- Emptied the Steam download cache
- Cleared the EA app cache
But this feels like a mechanics bug. Either she doesn’t count as an employee or wasn’t included in the system.
I also tried using a different door. Still the same error.
P.S.: There are NO Last Exceptions
It’s not a serious issue—you can easily fix it (by opening the door for a moment)—but since it’s apparently not intended to work this way, I wanted to at least report it.
And my native language is german and i have write the report whit a translater. In german you can read the Report there
