I had a sim i was playing set to turn into a vampire. She has "turned" and has the moodlets but yet cannot perform any of the vampire actions. Drinking from a sim or dark meditation, also she doesn't have a dark form. I attempted to change anther sim with the occult cheat and it didn't work either.

crinrict I waited the full 3 days, got the notification and animation that my sim has turned into a vampire, but then nothing about them is different and they can't do any vampire actions, they're still a normal human. They had the moodlets that made them uncomfortable during the 3 days, they had the "transformation" and then nothing changed with them. I tried having them turned again, waited another 3 days, and the same thing happened. I tried this on multiple sims multiple times and none of them actually changed into a vampire after multiple attempts. I even tried using the cheat to force them to be a vampire and that didn't even work.

Very disappointed as a just purchased the Vampire Expansion. My sim had the reaction and animation when he was supposed to turn into a vampire, and it says he did, but nothing changed and it still says he's not a vampire. I even tried using the cheat code to force him to turn into a vampire and that wouldn't even work. So I just bought the expansion and can't even use it......
This happened to one of my played sims just yesterday. He had asked a vampire friend to turn him, was bitten and got all the necessary moodlets. The animation for turning appeared after some days, and the pop-up that he had become a vampire appeared. But there is no vampire symbol in his profile, he doesn't have vampire needs, can't do any vampire actions, but the has got the moodlet, that he has become a vampire. In CAS he is still shown as a normal sim.
