when I pull up my cell phone and choose to take a vacation day from the mortician job it's not available/ Not there. Help?

my sim recently joined the grave keeper carreer and i dont have the option to take a day off but her husband who does the laywer carreer does have this option
they both have 3 days of vacation time but for the sim with the grave keeper career i dont get that option
