when I pull up my cell phone and choose to take a vacation day from the mortician job it's not available/ Not there. Help?

Experiencing this glitch with the Undertaker career. Have 6 available vacation days, yet can do nothing with them. Massively annoying since my sim is getting burnout and could really use some time off.
