Various Hot Keys not working

I have same problem, it happens randomly sometimes but it will working again after some time. 

I have this problem when using C to capture a screenshot. 

For me, my entire keyboard stops working until I click on the shopping cart and close it again. And it can't be because of outdated mods (their favorite excuse lately) because I don't have any.

The same thing is happening in my game - the keys won't work after a while, but in my case I don't think it is connected with the store. For me it happens when I play and then enter the build mode. After returning to the live game, the keys are not working. I use travel and it fixes this problem, but it is annoying.

Whether I'm in build mode or live mode, the walls wont go up or down when I press the home and end keys, and I cannot go upstairs or downstairs when pressing page up and page down. My keyboard is working & I have tested the keys. I have changed lots, started a new save, cleared my cache, I have no mods installed, and repaired the game on the EA app and the walls still aren't working. 

This means I cant paint walls/see what a the whole house looks like, or go upstairs/up down levels. It is stuck in the mode attached.  Please let me know how this can be fixed as I am mainly a builder and this renders the game useless.

My ` key stops working randomly, most recently after I left CAS with fulleditmode enabled. Other hot keys have failed in the past, but this is the only one that regularly gives up. Often the 0 and P keys will still work, it's just the ` next to the 1.
I currently have mods in but it's always done this for me, even before I first downloaded any mods. I have to restart entirely to get it working again. I play on PC.

On my PC, I try to pull up the cheat box (control, shift, c), but it will not show up. I have repaired the game and have no mods or cc. Any help?
