there's an ongoing issue with chess. Do you not have the option at all to practice chess or is it greyed out ? Do you have any discovery traits active ?
crinrict My Nerd Brain sim has the following traits: Practice Makes Perfect, Genius, Romantic, Self-Assured, Perfectionist, Active and Quick Learner.
On clicking on the chess board, she has the following options in the pie menu (win chess game want not active): Play, Make Heirloom, Mentoring..., Play With... and Ponder Moves. If she is grouped with another sim, Play Together is added to the Pie Menu. Nothing is greyed out, I don't remember ever seeing Practice on a chess board.
My other sim has the same options, except Ask for Logic Mentoring... in place of Mentoring...
