[AA] Betta bought at Fishmonger Shack turns into Gruppy

so i purchased a betta with my sim at the fish mnger shack and well in my inventory it is telling me that it is fact a guppy not a betta.. where is my betta??? HELP!

Could you please provide the following information

Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.

What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)

Was this a one time only thing or every time you try to buy a betta ?
