White screen won't launch

Can someone please help me. Yesterday I accidentally resized my Sims 4 window, turning off the full screen accidentally with a key on my  keyboard.. I didn't think anything of it and closed the game.. today when I wanted to launch the game its completely frozen on this screen for 1+ hour already and no matter what I do it won't change.. the mouse just shows loading.. I've been playing offline for 2 months straight so there's no way anything is complicated with mods being out of date.. please help me I don't know how to revert it the game won't even launch. It was just OK yesterday
