Writer: Specific Sims not getting promoted

Career layoff is not working properly. My sim has all the skill for promotion, and their performance is excellent, but when the career layoff is on, they won't get promotion, in fact, nothing happens...

I think it matters, because my another sim in the household is in the culinary career, and she's gettint promoted.

Could you give your Sim another career for testing purposes to see if she gets promoted there.

Test on a backup of your save game.
