This happened to me recently where my sim was writing a book while talking to someone, and when she went to go and resume writing, it gave the thing that shows she likes to write but then auto canceled the task completely. She cannot continue writing it at all. Moreover, sometimes though, which i don't know why or how this works, but its like a 75/25 chance that she can actually resume writing the book.
Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- This was fixed in the last patch. Is your game updated and did you try a game repair ?
