Another thread for this was marked as fixed but it's an ongoing issue for me. My Sim has written various books in the past, but suddenly he can't finish them. He sits down to write the entire thing, and the second the progress bar completes, the action cancels. He gets no notification that he finished the book and no new book in his inventory. If I tell him to resume writing, the action cancels again. He is not interrupted by anyone or anything when this happens.
