I play on the Xbox series X but since this latest update I've been having the same issues. Anytime I have to either travel or go to manage worlds, I get a constant loading screen. I also get a bug where I'll be playing and then the game stops my sims from moving. I'm unable to switch Sims or even fast forward. Sims outside the family will continue to move but I am unable to control anything once this happens. I can still save so restarting the game fixes it temporarily until it freezes again or I try traveling anywhere in the world.
I have checked updates for the console and the game itself. It's more frustrating that this happens every time I load into the game. Once the game has been restarted, it usually lets me play for a good 10-15 min before I have to restart again.
